On this sunny day, we celebrate a special occasion—United Nations Day. Teachers and students of Chiway Repton Kindergarten gathered together, bringing their passports, and embarked on their “children’s trip around the world,” exploring a colorful and wonderful world!

What’s the UN Day？

联合国日的由来可以追溯到1945年，当时联合国正式成立，旨在维护国际和平与安全，促进各国之间的友好关系。每年的这一天，世界各地都会举行各种活动，以纪念这个具有历史意义的时刻。联合国日不仅是一个国际性的节日，更是一个促进文化交流与理解的重要时刻。The origins of United Nations Day date back to 1945, when the United Nations was formally established to maintain international peace and security and promote friendly relations among nations. Every year on this day, various events are held around the world to commemorate this historic moment. United Nations Day is not only an international holiday, but also an important occasion to promote cultural exchange and understanding.

在这个充满意义的日子里，幼儿园仿佛变成了一个多姿多彩的地球村！孩子们穿着各国的美丽服饰，宛如一个个小天使，脸上洋溢着灿烂的笑容，在这个独特的舞台上绽放光芒。时装走秀之后，老师们精心布置了国家站点，每一个站点都像是一扇通往不同文化的大门。让我们一起走进这个多元文化的狂欢吧！On this meaningful day, the kindergarten seems to transform into a colorful global village! Dressed in beautiful costumes from various countries, the children look like little angels, their bright smiles shining brightly on this unique stage. After the fashion show, the teachers carefully arranged the national stations, each one serving as a gateway to different cultures. Let’s step into this multicultural carnival!

 

走进马来西亚站点，那充满活力的“Zapin”舞蹈像是诉说着这个国家的热情，孩子们随着欢快的节奏摇动身体，仿佛置身于马来西亚的热带丛林间；而Batik蜡染画艺术则充满了宁静与细致之美。色彩斑斓的蜡染画卷展开，每一幅都像是讲述着一个古老的故事。

Entering the Malaysian station, the energetic “Zapin” dance seems to express the country’s enthusiasm. The children sway to the cheerful rhythm, as if they are in the tropical jungles of Malaysia. Meanwhile, Batik exudes a quiet and meticulous beauty. Colorful Batik scrolls unfold, each one telling an ancient story.

来到南非站点，孩子们兴奋地围坐在一起，在老师的引导下轻轻地敲击着鼓面，感受着非洲音乐中那原始而又充满力量的节奏。

At the South African station, the children excitedly gathered together, gently beating the drum under the teacher’s guidance, feeling the primal and powerful rhythm of African music.

墨西哥站点宛如一片欢乐的海洋,传统游戏皮纳塔区域充满着惊喜的欢笑,而不远处的Sugar skull mask艺术区域则带有些许神秘,小朋友们被这些色彩鲜艳的糖骷髅面具深深吸引。

The Mexico station is like a sea of joy. The traditional Piñata area is filled with surprises and laughter, while the nearby Sugar Skull mask art area has an air of mystery. Children are deeply captivated by the colorful sugar skull masks.

意大利站点充满着艺术与创意的碰撞，小朋友们惊奇地看着用各种形状的意大利面拼凑出的地图和可爱的小图案，而意大利面具则充满着威尼斯式的优雅与神秘。

The Italian station is a hub of artistic creativity. Children marveled at the map made of various pasta shapes and cute small patterns, while the Italian masks exuded Venetian elegance and mystery.

在英国的游戏站点，孩子们不断发出快乐的呼喊声和欢快的笑声，就像走进了英国古老城堡中的欢乐聚会，体验着传统英式派对游戏的独特魅力。

At the British game station, the children are constantly shouting and laughing joyfully, as if they’ve entered a festive party in an old English castle, experiencing the unique charm of traditional British party games.

在法国站点，艺术气息弥漫在每一个角落。小朋友们戴着用树叶精心编制而成的皇冠，像是变成了童话世界里的小王子和小公主，体会到法国文化中对于自然与美的独特诠释。

At the French station, art permeates every corner. Wearing crowns made of leaves, the children look like little princes and princesses from a fairy tale, experiencing the unique blend of nature and beauty in French culture.

随着悠扬动听的印度音乐响起，小朋友们开始跟随印度站点的老师们一起跳跃、旋转、舞动，仿佛进入了一个充满神秘和魔力的世界。而边上的艺术创作——色彩绚丽、具有几何对称美的曼陀罗花图案不仅仅是视觉上的盛宴，更是心灵深处的一次洗礼与探索。With the melodious sounds of Indian music, the children began to follow the teachers at the Indian station, jumping, spinning, and dancing together, as if they had entered a world full of mystery and magic. The artistic creations nearby—colorful, geometrically symmetrical mandala flower patterns—are not only a visual feast, but also a spiritual journey and exploration of the soul.

下午，孩子们作为各国“代表”参加厦门华锐莱普顿幼儿园第三届“联合国会议”。这次，除了有IHS高中部的哥哥姐姐们为我们带来的演讲，还有一对可爱的日籍双胞胎家庭走进了我们的视野。他们介绍了日本简单的问候语、饮食文化以及动漫角色，如哆啦A梦、皮卡丘、蜡笔小新、樱桃小丸子等。这些有趣的分享，激发起孩子们对不同文化的兴趣和尊重。

In the afternoon, the children participated in the third “United Nations Conference” at Xiamen Chiway Repton Kindergarten as “representatives” of various countries. This time, in addition to the speeches delivered by the students from the International High School, a lovely Japanese twin family appeared before us. With big smiles, they introduced us to Japanese simple greetings, culture and foods, and famous anime characters like Doraemon, Pikachu, Crayon Shin-chan, and Chibi Maruko-chan. These develop an interest in and respect for different cultures.

幼儿园联合国日环球旅行护照之旅，不只是简单的文化展示，更是一场播种多元文化种子的盛典。在这一天，孩子们幼小的心灵被来自世界各国的文化悄然滋润，种下了包容、理解、热爱不同文化的美好种子，期待有一天能够长成参天大树，让多元文化在他们心中绽放出更绚烂的花朵。让我们共同期待下一次的联合国日，继续探索世界的奥秘，感受文化的魅力，携手共创一个更加美好的未来！
