In 2020, Chiway Repton Kindergarten Xiamen began an extraordinary educational journey. As an integral part of the K‑12 Chiway Repton School, we are guided by the school’s overarching mission:

Guided by this mission, we integrate the EYFS framework with the IB PYP curriculum, adhering to China’s national early learning guidelines. Our core approach is transdisciplinary inquiry‑based learning.

In the first four years, we collaborated with our affiliated primary school to build solid IB teaching experience. Then, in April 2025, we took a decisive step: we successfully obtained independent candidate status as an IB PYP school and are now advancing toward full, independent authorization.

Committed to being an independent IB World School, we are dedicated to nurturing curious, confident, and globally minded young learners who are ready to thrive in an interconnected world.

Chiway Repton Kindergarten Xiamen is a Candidate School for the IB PYP. This school is pursuing authorization as an IB World School. IB World Schools share a common philosophy—a commitment to high‑quality, challenging, international education that Chiway Repton Kindergarten Xiamen believes is important for our students.

Only schools authorized by the IB Organization can offer any of its four academic programmes: the Primary Years Programme (PYP), the Middle Years Programme (MYP), the Diploma Programme, or the Career‑related Programme (CP).
